We are so grateful to have been invited down to Galway to spend the day photographing John & Lorna's wedding at The Salthill Hotel. As you can imagine, with John's long term dedication and involvement with Connacht Rugby these guys had a huge number of guests which meant all the more fun. After a beautiful ceremony at Jes Church we headed into Galway town for drinks and to soak up some Bank Holiday vibes. We even had time to pop into Lorna and John's new 'old' house which is a wee gem of a cottage bursting with character. Not only that, it's where John proposed so we definitely wanted to mark the spot with some photos.
What a privilege to join with Scott & Vic as they pulled their clans together, back to where they met while holidaying for years as kids. Beautiful Downings Bay in Donegal couldn't have been a nicer spot to celebrate their day... the weather played ball and we couldn't have asked for more (and a first for Tim getting to photograph a groom getting ready in a sweet caravan at Melmore Head, beaut!) It's been a good while since we blogged, I have a baby and 2 other kids to blame for that, alongside a busy summer of weekly weddings and emails through the roof! So time to change that and show off some nice fresh photos of wedding goodness...
We'll kick things off with Claire & Alex's daft punk-japenese-80's video game inspired wedding at Larchfield Estate in County Down.
So much love for this... Read More
Our first wedding in Tulleyverry House, what a beauty! Brad and Elaine planned an outdoor wedding ceremony, all morning the place looked perfect, the sun was making an appearance through a few clouds and the stage was set. It rained only 30 minutes all day...take a guess when. Ha! To be honest the drama added such a buzz to the day and despite a few worried looks, pushing through the rain was the rock an roll thing to do! It was taken in great spirit by all and will make a great story for years to come. Brad and Elaine, thanks for making us feel part of the family. You have big hearts and your journey together of school years, distance and commitment is powerful. Thanks for having us!
