Josh & Emma came back from London to tie the knot close to where Emma grew up - Northern Ireland’s beautiful north coast. Drenagh Estate is a close drive from the most beautiful coastline in Ireland and so it was the perfect venue to show off Ireland at it’s best to their guests from further afield. We love when couples have their ceremony and reception in the one place, and Drenagh Estate lends itself perfectly to this. The stunning Moon Garden is the ideal for all types of ceremonies with a short walk back to the main House for a drinks reception. If you get lucky and the sun comes out, even better! But if not, it’s a beautiful place for guests to mingle and the party to start.Read More
Megan and Paul chose to have their whole day (ceremony and reception) at Tullyveery House, which in our opinions is always a great choice, guests just are instantly more relaxed. And it has a great outdoor and indoor option depending on weather. We had a fabulous day with these two from start to finish!Read More
Our first visit to Clonabreany House and we absolutely loved it. Ireland really does have some fanastic wedding venues on offer. The fact that all the guests could stay here for the night is a big bonus. But the house itself has been beautifully renovated to a seriously high standard and has such an air of luxury and elegance about it. We loved the rooms where Sharleen and Jon could get ready and the neutral grey tones that were continued around the property.
We were kindly provided with an evening meal and all 3 courses blew us away! The staff couldn't have been better and we were grateful to have been part of this beautiful winter wedding. Thanks to Sharleen and Jon for having us and putting on a great party!Read More
Matt and Ariana had a dream and it was a complete pleasure to document it unfolding. These guys live in Philadelphia, Matt moved away from Northern Ireland when he was 6 so for him and his family this was the right place. There ceremony was indeed special. They only decided on the location (at Dunseverick Castle) the day before and had their 2 dads, who are both pastors marry them - Ariana brought her Greek routes into the day by having a Greek crowning ceremony which was just beautiful. These are two incredibly trusting and generous people. Their love and faith is infectious and I can honestly say this day has changed us. We will never see Antrim coastline in the same way again...Read More
It all started when we were at a friends house for dinner, and PK happened to be there too... while he was chatting I couldn't get my best buddie Erin, out of my head. I 'subtly' kicked Tim under the table and then decided to announce that PK needed to meet this special girl... One of his first questions about her was something along the lines of "could she toss a bale of hay??!"
It seems she can :)
We were delighted when Ollie & Elham invited us over to do take some engagement photos of them at Ollie's family home in London. There's something special about being photographed in surroundings that are part of your soul and your heritage and this was very much the case for this shoot. We were spoilt on this shoot with loads of time, no wind to battle, blue sky and a great couple to work with... so for being one of our first shoots since November we were eased in gently!
E&O, thanks for welcoming us so warmly to your part of the world, being yourselves and sorting out such fab weather too - we would do it all again tomorrow if we could!Read More
This is a little snippet of an interior shoot we did a few months ago for some treasured friends of ours... There are a lot of amazing things about this house, but the best part is that they designed it around their heart for community and always having space for others. The other great part is that a lot of this is house is the behind the scenes of one of the most exciting new businesses opening in the Northern Ireland in the coffee and catering world. Rather than us ramble on you can read more about Lost and Found Coffee Shop and Brew Bar here. But if you like good (and we mean GOOD) coffee, you need to be checking this out! We feel honoured to have watch this dream grow from the seed it started as, to the business it is today. And we are loving seeing the excitement stir on the North Coast as their official opening draws closer!!
So this is where Dave and Emily live, and where they, with Dan and Kathleen, have been hosting weekly 'pop-ups' on a Sunday afternoon, for people in our community to drop in and drink amazing coffee. And not only that, sample Kathleens incredible baking offerings. Their house is a joy to photograph, with more light than a photographer could dream of, and colour pops at every angle. It's totally them, and suits their every hospitable need. We love it.
Michael and Naomi's wedding transported us to a different time. To pull off a 'gastsby' themed wedding you have to carry something that little bit special. From handmade dresses (Naomi designed her own dress) to 1920's style brogues, everything about the day had charm and quirkiness in abundance. And at the center of it all was fun, with Naomi's smile and Michael's banter topping it off. We left this wedding buzzing...Read More
We get excited when couples tailor their wedding plans with places of significance in mind. Unfortunately it's not always possible. But Ross and Emily have pursued this with some engagement shots at the very spot Ross asked the question. If that wasn't significant enough their upcoming wedding will be in Queens; where their story started. It's here that they drank coffee, wrote late night essays, went to gigs, got soaked in the Belfast rain and fell in love.
In years to come these images will remain, for future generations and family. Ross and Emily - young and in love, in the very place it all began.Read More
